Casey is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience as a nurse and over 10 years as a nurse practitioner. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northwestern State University. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She has worked in several different healthcare settings, providing care for high and low acuity patients spanning the lifetime spectrum.
Casey has a passion for learning and growing as a health care provider. Her most formative roles were those in general surgery, emergency medicine, and primary care. Over the course of her professional career she has developed a keen interest in optimizing wellness for patients through empowerment, education, and effective treatments.
Outside of work Casey enjoys reading her Bible, hanging out with her husband, and playing with her five daughters. She homeschools her children and enjoys a very busy season of life. She tries to live by her favorite verse from Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”.
