Rachel LaCroix is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in the medical field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McNeese State University in December 2013 and began her career in high-acuity settings, spending five years as a registered nurse in both adult and pediatric emergency departments. Driven by a passion for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care, Rachel returned to McNeese State University to pursue advanced practice training. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing in May 2019 and became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is currently licensed to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
Since becoming an FNP, Rachel has spent five years working in Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine before joining CIMC. Her clinical interests include preventive care, acute illness management, and hormone optimization. She is a certified Biote Provider and a DOT-FMCSA-certified Medical Examiner.
Rachel was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing during her graduate studies and remains actively involved in the professional community as a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
